XAG drone Error Code Q&A- August 1st 2025

Question: When you upload logs for R&D to analyze an issue, but R&D later tells you that the logs cannot be found on the server — what should you do?

  • Answer:  Please update the Log Service to version 2.0.0.207 or later, and re-upload the logs as soon as possible.

Question: Customer is getting this every other flight . Level sensor error, device cannot take off or return

  • Answer: level sensor needs to be cleaned and dried.  Use clean water to clean the water tank and keep the sensor clean and keep the top cover dry. If the problem still cannot be solved, you need to replace the Level sensor

Question: Loading failed:  error code 10901 : Can not take over the drone .

  • Cause:

1. The drone is still receiving joystick input and has entered manual (RC) mode.

2. Remote control mode takes priority over autonomous missions.

3. A joystick or button may be stuck, miscalibrated, or unintentionally pressed.

  • Recommended Actions:

1. Check the joystick on the remote controller to ensure it is centered and not being pressed during mission upload or takeoff.

2. Calibrate the joystick in the App.

3. Avoid touching the sticks or buttons while assigning the mission or during the takeoff process.

4. Restart the drone and remote if the issue persists.

Question: During autonomous flight, the drone broadcasted the following message:

“Speed error in positioning module. Please take manual control or perform RTH with caution.”

Answer:

  • Explanation:

This warning indicates that the positioning module (such as RTK or GPS) is reporting inconsistent or abnormal speed data, which may affect flight stability or navigation accuracy.

In most cases, this happens when the drone is flying near obstacles or trees, and the GNSS antenna is partially blocked — or when the GPS antenna is dirty, leading to weakened signal reception.

  • Recommended Actions:

1. Immediately monitor the drone’s behavior — look for signs of drifting, instability, or failure to follow the planned route.

2. If conditions are safe, take manual control using the remote controller to avoid further risk.

3. Alternatively, you may initiate Return-to-Home (RTH), but proceed with caution, as positioning may still be unstable.

4. After landing:

Inspect the GPS antenna to see if it’s dirty or covered — clean if necessary.

Cold reboot the drone (power off for several minutes) and check if the issue persists.

5. Verify that RTK/GPS modules are functioning normally and that all related firmware versions are up to date.

Question: The drone failed to take off and reported the following:

· Message: Navigation module action response timeout

· Error Code: 0x02FF400

  • Cause:

This error is typically caused by excessively large fields or complex boundaries, which lead to a route planning timeout.

  • Recommended Actions:

1. Retry the takeoff a few times.

2. Power off the drone completely, wait 5 minutes, and then restart (cold reboot).

3. Update the firmware to the latest version and try again.

4. Split the large field into smaller plots and re-plan the mission.

Question: Error Message:

Operation field area too large

Error Code: 0x02120005

  • Cause:

This error typically occurs when:

1. The operation field is too large.

2. The takeoff point is too far from the operation field.

  • Recommended Solutions:

1. Try uploading the task multiple times.

2. Move the takeoff point closer to the operation field.

3. Split the field into two smaller plots and upload them separately.

Question: Error Message:

Start failed

Terrain radar connection error, please check the cable connection of terrain module. If this does not work, please contact customer service or after-sales support.

Error Code: 0x00024167

  • Explanation:

The terrain-following radar failed to start during drone power-on. This is likely caused by a poor cable connection to the radar module.

  • Recommended Actions:

1. Please check the radar cable connection.

2. Completely power off the drone and wait for 5 minutes before restarting (cold reboot).

3. Update the firmware to the latest version — the latest firmware includes optimizations for radar startup.

Question: the P100pro drone reports a "Radar Module Missing" issue during Return-to-Home landing or after battery replacement.

  • Recommended Solutions:

·  Update to the latest software version – The latest version has resolved radar loss issues caused by the CPU module.

·  Power cycle the battery – Remove and reinsert the battery to reboot the radar module.

·  Cold reboot the drone – Power off the drone and leave it off for at least 5 minutes before restarting.

·  If none of the above steps resolve the issue, replace the radar module.

Question:  Error code  10503  Loading failed

RTK positioning is not completed, please wait for its completion and try again(10503)

This issue is typically caused by the GPS not entering RTK status, meaning the drone is either not positioned or in float mode.

  • Recommended Solution:

· Please check whether the 4G signal on the drone or remote controller is working properly, with at least 2 bars of signal.

· Make sure the drone is in an open area, free from obstructions such as buildings, trees, or large metal structures, to ensure a clear GPS signal.

Once the RTK fix is established, the system should load normally.

Question:  Error code 0x00024168

This error indicates a loss of communication between the radar and the flight control CPU.

  • Recommended Solution:

1. Fully power off the drone, then check whether the radar cable is damaged or if the connector is loose or not securely attached.

2. Perform a cold restart of the drone (disconnect and reconnect the battery after full shutdown).

3. If the issue persists, the drone can still fly with the radar turned off, but extra caution is required:

o Ensure there are no obstacles within the field during operation.

o If possible, consider replacing the radar module as soon as conditions allow.

Question: Calibration error (0X91535EC)

0X91535EC Fault Code Description:

This code indicates a pump restart during calibration, which typically occurs when the pump operation is interrupted during liquid volume or spraying calibration.

  • Recommended Actions:

1. Check the Pump Connector

• Ensure the plug/socket connection is secure, with no looseness, oxidation, or moisture.

• Clean and dry the connector if necessary, then reconnect firmly.

2. Check the Pump Cable

• Inspect for any damage, bending, or crushing of the cable.

• Ensure the cable is firmly fixed and free from vibration or pulling stress.

3. Check the Pump Motor Installation

• Verify that all motor mounting screws are properly tightened.

• Ensure the pump body and motor coupling are securely connected with no looseness or misalignment.

4. Determine the Fault Frequency

• If the fault occurs occasionally, follow the above inspection steps and retest.

• If the fault occurs frequently, replace the entire pump assembly.

5. Special Step After Impeller Replacement

• If the impeller has just been replaced, perform a high-flow pump flush after installation to remove any residual debris and ensure smooth internal flow.

Question: What do the motor speed values in the propulsion system screen indicate?

  • Answer:

(1) 19900: The ESC will display this value for 2 seconds after powering on. If it

persists, send the drone to the service station for inspection.

(2) 18900: Indicates that the ESC has not received the control signal from the flight

controller. Send the drone to the service station for inspection.

(3) 17900: Indicates an ESC stall alarm. Send the drone to the service station for

inspection.

(4) 21900: Indicates an overcurrent alarm. Send the drone to the service station for

inspection.

(5) 17910: Indicates that the ESC power supply voltage exceeds the threshold (≥75V).

Send the drone to the service station for inspection.

(6) 17920: Indicates an abnormal phase current in the ESC. Send the drone to the

service station for inspection.

(7) 23000: Indicates a motor fault or poor contact in the phase wires. Send the drone

to the service station for inspection.
