⚠️  HD580 Drone – Safety Usage Instructions

During recent customer visits, we have found that some users are not following essential safety practices when operating the HD580 drone. Please carefully observe the following safety guidelines:

1. Maintain Safe Distance During Takeoff and Landing

The operator must stay at least 30 feet (10 meters) away from the drone.

All other personnel must maintain a distance of at least 60 feet (20 meters).

2. Takeoff and Landing Position Offset in GPS Mode

The drone may experience positional drift when taking off or landing in GPS mode.

The camera-assisted landing feature is not yet implemented in the current software version.

Be cautious when operating on trailers or uneven platforms, as this may cause landing deviations.

3. Takeoff Angle & Surface Level

If the drone is placed on a tilted surface, it may take off at an angle, resulting in unstable lift-off.

Ensure the takeoff surface is flat and level.

4. Use the Safe Point Feature & Avoid Flying Over People

Always enable and use the Safe Point function.

Flying over people is strictly prohibited to avoid pesticide exposure or injury in case of crash.

5. Authorized Personnel Only

Untrained individuals and minors are strictly prohibited from operating the drone.

The HD580 is a professional agricultural drone, not a toy.

6. Safe Battery Handling

Never insert or remove the battery while the drone is powered on.

To replace the battery, first power off the battery, wait at least 3 seconds, then proceed with insertion or removal.

7. Do Not Leave Pesticides in Tank Overnight

Pesticides should not be left in the tank overnight, as this can severely corrode or clog the pump and flow meter.

Always clean the drone thoroughly after daily operations.

8. Do Not Transport the Drone with Battery Inserted

Always remove the battery before transportation, and

Never transport the drone while it is powered on.

9. Daily Battery Connector Maintenance

Clean battery connectors daily using alcohol.

If the connectors are heavily worn or blackened and cannot be cleaned, replace them immediately.

Worn connectors can lead to overheating and potential crashes.

10. Avoid Overheating Under Sunlight While Idle

Do not leave the powered-on drone exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods without flying.

This may cause the flight controller to overheat, resulting in over-temperature faults.

11. Trailer Safety Requirements

Trailer work areas must be equipped with guardrails, sunshades, and anti-collision barriers

This is to prevent falls, heatstroke, or injuries to the operator.

12. Maintain Distance from Power Lines

Always maintain a minimum distance of 60 feet (20 meters) from high-voltage power lines.

Absolutely no operations should be conducted directly beneath power lines.
