Hello everyone, welcome to XAG Academy!
Before performing the spraying operation, the spraying parameters and route parameters must be set according to the actual situation of the plot environment and crop growth, so that the spraying operation effect can reach the best degree.
1. Spraying parameter setting
The effect of spraying operations mainly depends on the amount of medicine used in the crop and the size of atomized particles, in response to this situation, the spraying settings of XAG agricultural drones include spray amount, atomized particles, and flight change section spraying.
Before setting the spraying parameters, you need to enter the operation interface:
(1) Open the "XFEI Agricultural Clothing" App and click "Operation" on the home page;
(2) Click "Start Job"; (3) Select the plot on the map; (4) Click "OK"; (5) You can see the interface of "Spray Settings" and "Route Settings".
On the "Spray Settings" screen, set the following parameters sequentially:
(2) Atomized granules: refers to the particle size of the drug solution;
(3) Flight change section spraying: refers to whether to turn on both sides of the nozzle at the turn when the unmanned aircraft wants to turn to another route after the unmanned aircraft has completed the operation. If there are crops at the turn, it is recommended to turn on
2. Route parameter setting
The altitude and speed of the operation route will affect the growth of crops, the effect of pesticide spraying, and the flight safety of unmanned aircraft, and parameters need to be set according to the actual situation of the operation.
Click to enter the "Route Settings" screen, and you can see three options: "Inbound and outbound routes", "Operation routes", and "Advanced settings".
1. "Inbound and Outbound Routes"
It refers to the flight route of the unmanned aircraft entering and exiting the operation plot, and it is necessary to set the "flight altitude", "flight speed" and "safety point" in turn.
(1) Flight altitude: refers to the flight altitude of the unmanned aircraft.
(2) Flight speed: refers to the speed at which an unmanned aircraft flies from the "take-off and landing point" to the operation area.
(3) Safety point: refers to the obstacle in the entry and exit route of the unmanned aircraft, and it is necessary to set up a safety point to change the entry and exit route and avoid obstacles. The specific operation details are as follows:
l Turn on the "Use safety point planning" switch, the route will appear safety points, you can click and drag the position of safety points;
l If you still can't avoid the obstacles on the entry and exit route, you can click the "+" sign on the route to add auxiliary points to adjust the route;
l If you need to delete the auxiliary point due to misoperation, you can select the auxiliary point and click the "Delete" key to delete it.
2. "Operation Route"
It refers to the flight route of the unmanned aircraft to perform operations in the plot, and it is necessary to set six parameters in turn: "flight altitude", "flight speed", "route direction", "route spacing", "boundary safety distance" and "obstacle safety distance".
(1) Flight altitude: refers to the flight altitude of the unmanned aircraft in the "operation area".
(2) Flight speed: refers to the speed of the unmanned aircraft in the "operation area".
(3) Route direction: Choosing the appropriate route direction can reduce the number of flight turns and improve flight efficiency.
(4) Route spacing: refers to the distance between two routes.
(5) Boundary safety distance: If there are obstacles extending into the plot at the boundary of the local block, such as the canopy, a boundary safety distance needs to be set to avoid hitting the obstacle.
(6) Obstacle safety distance: After adjusting the setting, you can keep a distance from the obstacle.
3. "Advanced Settings"
In order to make the unmanned aircraft safer and more convenient during operation, there are mainly 5 advanced functions as support, namely "operating range", "ground imitation", "obstacle avoidance", "breakpoint automatic optimization route" and "three-dimensional route".
(1) Operation route selection: This function can be used when you only need to operate a certain route. For example, special circumstances such as finding that crop diseases on the route are large.
(2) Edge sweeping function: In order to strengthen the spraying of the corner area of the plot, you can choose to turn on the "edge sweeping function".
(3) Ground imitation function: In order to ensure flight safety and spraying effect, the "ground imitation function" can be turned on to keep the flight altitude of the unmanned aircraft and the top of the crop at a fixed height.
(4) Obstacle avoidance function: For the plot of the first operation, it is recommended to open the obstacle avoidance function to improve the safety effect of the aircraft.
(5) Automatic optimization of route after resumption of flight: After turning on this function, when the operation is not completed, the unmanned aircraft needs to continue to perform the operation after returning home, and the unmanned aircraft will automatically optimize the route to enter the nearby unoperated route, improve the
(6) Three-dimensional route: When you operate in mountainous and hilly areas, the flight route will have ups and downs, and you can combine the three-dimensional high-precision map to turn on this function to ensure the safety of flight operations.
Course Summary
In this lesson, we will introduce the role and setting methods of each parameter in "Spray Settings" and "Route Settings". Once you've set it up, you can learn how to perform assignments and deal with emergencies in the next lesson.
