Drone Maintenance

As the number of acres of unmanned aircraft operations increases, the items requiring maintenance will gradually increase. We have to carry out maintenance in these four stages, namely, after each operation is completed, the operation reaches 3,000 mu, 5,000 mu, and 10,000 mu. Below we will introduce the maintenance items at each stage in turn.

 

Phase 1: Maintenance items after each operation 

1.  Clean the fuselage and medicine box

Maintaining the medicine box can make the medicine box pipeline not easy to wear and corrode the medicine box pipeline, so how to maintain the spraying system, you can check and maintain the following parts.
 
The first step is to open the "Jifei Agricultural Service 4.0" App, enter the spraying system, click "Manual Spraying Test", and empty the remaining liquid medicine in the medicine box and pipeline;
 
In the second step, fill in soapy water or soap powder water, neutralize the residual pesticides, and empty again;
 
The third step is to pour clean water into the medicine box, click "manual spray test" to empty the medicine box and pipeline;
 
The fourth step is to use a high-pressure water gun to rinse the fuselage to ensure that it is clean and free of stains, and to dry the drone.
 

2. Clean and check the power system

The maintenance of the propeller is to make the propeller perform the best efficiency during the daily operation, reduce the vibration of the body, and indirectly protect other parts of the body. The following parts can be inspected and maintained.
 
The first step is to check the blades of the propeller. If there are cracks or defects, the blades need to be replaced; if the blades shake up and down, tighten the screws or replace the damaged paddle clips and paddle cards;
 
The second step is to check the surface of the ESC. If there is any attachment, use a soft brush to clean the liquid medicine and stains on the surface;

3.  Check the job execution system

Inspection and maintenance of spraying is to make the spraying system perform at its best. During operation, the flow rate of the peristaltic pump can be more accurate, and the pipeline can be more durable. The following parts can be checked.
 
l  Rui spray system

Check the cable ties at each interface of the drug tube. If it is loose, use a cable tie to fasten it; if the drug tube is worn, wrap it with "cloth tape" for protection; if there is cracking or aging, replace the drug tube in time.
l  Core Broadcasting System

Due to the high corrosiveness of fertilizers, if the spreader is not maintained for a long time, the spreader will be corroded and worn, and the material will be easily jammed, and the auger will be damaged. Effectively prevent fertilizers from corroding spare parts and prolong the service life of the seeding system.

4.  Clean and check the induction system

The perception system is like the eyes of a human being. When operating at a super long distance or on uneven terrain, the equipment can operate at the fastest speed to ensure flight safety. For example, if there is a foreign object on the swinging radar, it may cause radar misjudgment and affect the operating efficiency. You can use a lens cloth to wipe the lenses of ground imitation radar, ground vision and PSL perspective images to ensure that they are clean and free of foreign objects.

Phase 2: A maintenance project with an operation of 3,000 mu

1.  Check the fuselage

During the long-term operation, the slight vibration of the body will cause the body screw to loosen. During the transportation, it will often collide with other objects or press the body, which will cause deformation or damage to the structure of the machine. Flying again after an abnormality will increase the work. Safety risk, need to maintain as soon as possible, the main steps:
 
The first step is to visually check whether the arm slider, tripod, main beam, and carbon frame are deformed. If there is any deformation or breakage, it needs to be replaced in time.
The second step is to check whether the fixing screws of the fuselage are loose, slipped, rusted or broken, and if so, replace the screws.
 
The third step is to remove the nose cover and check whether the wires at the flight control are worn or broken one by one, and whether the interface is faulty. If so, the wires need to be replaced.
 
The fourth step is to check whether the fixing screws of the execution system, tripod, and material box are loose, slipped, rusted or broken, and the screws need to be replaced if any.

2.  Check the power system

Motor

The motor is the most critical part of the entire power system. The degree of loss of the motor directly determines the power output and load. If the maintenance is not in place, the motor will stop rotating during high-speed flight, causing the equipment to directly explode. Generally, the degree of damage is relatively high. Seriously, in order to avoid this phenomenon, it is necessary to do maintenance work, the main steps are:

① Rotate the motor, if there is abnormal noise or sticking, use a soft brush to clean the foreign matter or dust remaining on the enameled wire of the motor; visually check the enameled wire of the motor, if it turns black, replace the motor;
 
② Check the three-phase wires and terminals of the motor. If there is wear and tear, wrap the three-phase wires of the motor with two layers of "acetate tape" to ensure that the wire skin is not exposed; if there is a break, replace the motor with damaged wires or terminals.
 
③Remove the sprinkler lamp, check the EV foam, and replenish the foam if there is any missing;
lMotor  base

① Shake the motor, check the base of the motor, if it is loose, fasten the screws; if it is broken, replace it;

②Unscrew the fixing screws of the motor base, and check the steel sleeve visually and by touch. If there are cracks, replace the steel sleeve, rubber sleeve, screws and motor base;
ESC:

Whether the maintenance of ESC equipment is in place also directly determines whether the power system can exert the best working efficiency. In the daily operation process, wear and tear will cause the discharge current of the ESC to be too small, the motor speed is low, the load is low, and the operating efficiency is low. Severe overheating will stop the current output during flight, causing the motor to lose power and cause a crash. Generally, the crash is more serious.
 
① Check the three-phase wires and terminals of the ESC. If there is any wear and tear, wrap the three-phase wires of the motor with two layers of "acetate tape" to ensure that the wire skin is not exposed; if there is a break, replace the motor with damaged wires or terminals.
 
②If you use 23 models, you need to check the three-phase line terminal screws, and tighten them in time if they are loose.

3.  Check the peristaltic pump tube of the Rui spray system


The peristaltic pump determines whether the spraying volume of the spraying system is accurate. During long-term work, it is inevitable that there will be wear and blockage, which needs to be dealt with in time. The specific operation steps are as follows:

①Remove the peristaltic pump and observe the peristaltic pump tube. If there is blockage, aging or damage, you need to clean the foreign matter in the tube and replace the peristaltic pump tube. Calibration test is required after installation;
 
② Check the degree of lubrication between the peristaltic pump tube and the "synchronization disc". If the lubrication is poor, apply "Vaseline".

Phase 3: A maintenance project with an operation of 5,000 mu 

1.  Check the power system

Whether the propeller gasket is complete or not, determines that the propeller will vibrate greatly during high-speed rotation, resulting in excessive wear of the gasket, and the greater the vibration of the equipment during flight, it will seriously cause the bombing. The specific operation steps are as follows:
 
The first step is to check the paddle gasket, if it is crushed or worn, it needs to be replaced in time;

The second step is to check the swing arm and connecting rod of the steering gear. If it is loose, fasten the screws, and if it is broken, replace it;

2.  Check the power system


The working environment is complicated, and it is in contact with the battery for a long time. If there are other foreign objects during the battery discharge process, the resistance will increase, and the tail plug will be burned black. Stable, easy to produce frying machine, the specific maintenance steps are as follows:
 
The first step is to use a cotton swab dipped in 75% alcohol to clean the metal plate of the tail plug. If there are traces of ignition, the tail plug needs to be replaced;
 
The second step is to shake the tail plug by hand, if there is no room for movement, it needs to be disassembled and reassembled;
 
The third step is to remove the shell of the tail plug and check the power cord of the tail plug. If it is damaged, burned, or broken, the tail plug needs to be replaced.

3.  Check the Ruibo system

Long-term sowing operations and the use of irregular and hard fertilizers will cause the auger to wear and tear. Common abnormalities after wear and tear include "screw jamming, auger leakage, and leftovers". In order to avoid this situation, we need Regular maintenance, the specific maintenance steps are as follows:
 
Remove the spinner and auger and clean them, check for wear and replace if larger than 2 mm.
 

4.  Check the perception system

The flight control is commonly known as the brain of the unmanned aircraft. All the commands of the unmanned aircraft are converted by the flight control, including the positioning system, ground defense radar and other modules. If the flight control fixing screws are loose, it will cause "dancing" during the flight. The equipment fluctuates up and down. At this time, the flight control fixing screws may be loose. To avoid this situation, the following maintenance steps need to be done:
 
The first step is to check the mounting frame of the flight control, if it is not secure, tighten the fixing screws; if it is deformed, replace it;

The second step is to check the fixing frame of the front radar. If it is deformed, it needs to be replaced immediately. After replacement, please ensure that the connecting wire is on the left side;

Phase 4: Maintenance projects with an operation of 10,000 mu and above


The machine arm is the "arm" of the equipment. During the long-term operation, the machine arm hoop will be opened and closed repeatedly. When operating 10,000 acres, it is also necessary to check whether the machine arm hoop screws are tight and not loose. If it is not maintained for a long time, it will be serious It will lead to "fracture" during the flight. Generally, the bombing is more serious. In order to avoid similar situations, the following maintenance procedures need to be performed:
 
The first step is to check the arm to see if there is any crack or damage, and whether the hoop of the arm is intact and not loose. If there is any abnormality, please go to the service station for replacement immediately;


The second step is to remove the nose cover and check the wires at the flight control. If there is wear, breakage, or interface failure, the wires need to be replaced.

The third step is to power on the unmanned aircraft (not flying), and shake the motor manually. If the spline shaft of the steering gear is empty, it must be handled at the service station;

The fourth step is to check the spray plate. If there are broken teeth or damage, it needs to be replaced in time;
 
       The above are the projects that need to be maintained after each operation of the unmanned aircraft, and the operation reaches 3,000 mu, 5,000 mu, and 10,000 mu.
